Look, I am a cat and I spend most of my time indoors keeping tabs on all the critters outside. Therefore, windows are of the utmost importance. With as many windows as we could fit in and a passive solar design I am able to enjoy many hours of natural sun without direct rays in my eyes… If anyone knows anything about me it’s that I have rather large eyes. Here lies the next phase in the building process – the window installation. Below you can check out interior and exterior shots of my new triple pane viewing pleasure. In this picture you can see how I had Kristy test out the views.

The loft. This was a house must so I can keep tabs on many areas with just a few head motions. I also enjoy watching the humans cook up meals. I prefer my meals out of a can.

Bedroom. Due to my cat-like-eyes (ha), I can keep an eye on evening critters while the lazy humans think nights are for sleeping.

I may have a double coat of fur, but I do like to stay warm. Luckily our builder wanted to make sure we had a very efficient wall and window combo. After the house wrap was secured, another layer of 1" Green Guard insulation was added before the siding was installed.

The southern exposure. This is where I constantly venture from window to window verifying an exact count of all critters.

The humans had to retire their bikes for the winter after the first snow. Now that the windows are in the interior work can begin. So it continues.
